Evasion of learning is a longstanding topic of discussion in organizational education and education management. In an attempt to find out why managers and board members of cooperatives in Hamedan province tended to evade training courses in 1389 (2010), the current research surveyed 40 instructors of the Provincial Cooperative Administration as well as 50 trainees to the provincial cooperatives. A questionnaire whose validity and reliability had been calculated was distributed among the respondents. It consisted in 40 questions formatted on Likert Scale. Finally, the collected data were put to analysis using SPSS (v.15) software.
The findings show that out of the main 5 categories, two concerning "choosing training methodology" and "training course evaluation" are significant in training evasion, compared with the remaining categories i.e. "training need assessment"; "educational objectives" and "curriculum planning" which were ruled out as statistically insignificant.
Out of the variables categorized in 5 groups, "lack of educational aiding equipment" and "disengagement of trainees in educational need assessment" and "effectiveness usefulness of the training programs" have been identified as the most important factors intensifying the leaning evasion.
